Kanye West started promoting the new album in the notorious Texas prison

Kanye West chased some of the inmates at the notorious Texas County Jail to tears. About 200 convicts received this American rapper in one block of the prison, who honored them with songs from the new album.
During the visit, Kanye West drew songs from his new gospel studio material, "Jesus Is King," and some of his biggest hits, without prisoners hiding his enthusiasm, showed a recording released by the prison's warden.

The 42-year-old performed with the church choir and was then moved to another facility across the street where a smaller group of prisoners enjoyed his performance.

It is alleged that Kanye used a secret tunnel to reach the site of his second concert on Friday, Sky News reports.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said many music stars have previously spoken out about a possible jail appearance, and they do it, in his view, in the wake of jailhouse concerts hosted by country singer Johnny Cash in California.

Specifically, Cash performed twice at Folsom State Prison in January 1968, and 17 concerts were later released on an album recorded live called "At Folsom Prison."
